The area

The house is in the centre of the Natural Park of the “Sierras Subbeticas” (Subbeticas mountains), south of Cordoba. An amazing rural area, surrounded by olive trees, that will transport you to the traditional Andalusian countryside lifestyle. Just 5 minutes away from Las Lagunillas village, you will be able to see a small town that keeps that characteristic nice and familiar atmosphere.

Placed midway between two towns: Priego de Cordoba and Rute (around 15 minutes away). In the former, you will enjoy a famous city for its baroque art and its Arabic quarter with its narrow and winding streets; the later will delight you with its sugar and chocolate museums.

The outside

From Cortijo Alameda’s porch, you will appreciate the vast olive trees fields that surround the house and enjoy privileged views of “La Tiñosa”, the highest peak in Cordoba. Amazing views you will also enjoy from our swimming pool with crystal water during the warm summer afternoons.

The house features a exterior kitchen in the front side of the house where you will enjoy a barbeque with the rest of the guess without stop feeling the calm from the nature around you.

The interior

When you enter this traditional house with white walls, you will find a dining-living room recently refurbished with television and internet. Just next to it, you will face the kitchen, fully fitted and with a direct window to the porch.

Out of the seven bedrooms in the house, two of them have queen size double beds, three with double beds and two with a single bed. The house also features a sofa-bed, a cot and two extra bed (previous request).

Finally, the last room has a fireplace for the winter months together with an exit door to the back of the house.
